Graham Barker is an independent researcher with a keen interest in
Roman coins of the third century AD and the coins of Carausius and Allectus in particular. He has published many articles and two books, both with Spink: “Imperial Legitimation: the iconography of the Golden Age myth on Roman imperial coinage of the third century AD”(2020) and, co-written with Sam Moorhead: “Rebel Emperors of Britannia, Carausius and Allectus” (2023).
